Cleared for Takeoff! The Balam Air Exam Scholarship
At Balam Air, we believe in empowering and supporting aspiring individuals in pursuing their dreams in the aviation industry. We are delighted to introduce our Balam Air Scholarship Program, designed to assist and encourage passionate individuals to achieve their aviation goals. With every sale on our website, $1 will be contributed towards the scholarship fund, ensuring a sustainable opportunity for future aviation professionals.
Current value of The Balam Air Scholarship is $500.00 AUD
Scholarship Details:
- Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
- Preference will be given to female candidates to promote gender diversity in aviation.
- Applicants must demonstrate a genuine interest and commitment to a career in aviation.
- The scholarship value is currently $500.00 AUD which can be used for any of the following exams: Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) exam in Australia. The scholarship value will be put in credit for the recipient to use at ASL Aspeq to use solely for the purposes of sitting exams. CASA fee excluded.
- The scholarship will be open for applications once a year.
- The application period will open on 31st June.
- The application period will close on 31st December.

- Complete all sections of the application form accurately and legibly.
- Submit the filled-in application form along with the optional supporting documents to Scholarship Email Address by the respective application deadline.
- Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

- All received applications will be reviewed and assessed by the Balam Air scholarship committee.
- Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview or additional evaluation.
- The scholarship recipient will be selected based on the strength of their application, commitment to aviation, and potential to contribute to the industry.
- The scholarship recipient will be notified within one month after the application deadline.
- The scholarship amount will be disbursed directly to ASL Aspeq to cover the cost of the selected exam sitting (TBC).
- The scholarship recipient, upon acceptance, agrees to allow Balam Air to use their provided image for promotional and social media purposes, acknowledging the importance of showcasing their achievement and inspiring others in the aviation community.
